Quinoa Hamburger Recipe of 13-10-2015 [Updated on 24-05-2016]
The quinoa burgers that I propose this morning are a healthy, tasty and energetic dish. The recipe I propose is suitable for practically everyone: vegetarians, vegans, celiacs and intolerant to eggs and lactose, but also omnivores like me. After buying them once at the supermarket, given the fairly high cost, I decided to prepare the quinoa burgers at home starting from the ingredients shown on the package, they were very good and very appreciated also by Elisa and Ivano who preferred mine to the packaged ones ;) If you are looking for new quinoa recipes, if you love veggie burgers or want to bring something different to the table, this recipe might be for you. How to make quinoa burgers
Rinse the quinoa several times under running water, rubbing the grains well together.
Then put it in a saucepan with 300 grams of water and cook for 10 minutes from the boil.
If the water has not completely evaporated, drain it. Then put it in a bowl and let it cool, shelling the beans from time to time with the prongs of a fork.
Now blend the beans with the onion, basil, salt and paprika.
Pour the cream into the bowl with the quinoa.
Mix everything well.
Then form 6 meatballs and place them on a sheet of parchment paper.
Mash until burgers are formed.
Refrigerate to harden for 30 minutes.
Then cook the quinoa burgers in a pan with a drizzle of oil until golden.
Leave to cool and serve your veggie burgers.
